Background
Lynne Goldstein practised as a medical dietitian before undertaking a master’s degree in biochemistry. She then pursued studies in holistic nutrition, homoeopathy, herbal medicine, Ayurveda and iridology, attaining a high distinction in nutrition and herbal medicine. She finds that by combining nutritional therapy with herbal prescribing, and employing iridology as an analytical tool, very successful results are achieved. Lynne studied with the most prestigious members of their field. She studied herbal medicine and Ayurveda with Denis Stewart, considered to be the father of herbal medicine in Australia, and iridology with Toni Miller, who studied with the very founders of iridology. Lynne Goldstein established View to Health in Balmain NSW in 2003 and has lectured in natural therapy colleges in Sydney and in London and has written various articles on natural treatments of health problems.
How Lynne approaches the individual’s health problems
Many of the people who come to View to Health have had disappointing experiences with medical treatments, which in some cases have led to other health problems.
Lynne has offered natural alternatives to antibiotics, antihistamines, cortisone and even antidepressants, and has weaned people off these drugs when they are already taking them.
Her treatments strengthen the body’s natural defences thus assisting in its ability to recover.
The clinic features a comprehensive herbal dispensary of high potency full-strength 1:1 fluid extracts as specified by the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia. Ayurvedic as well as western herbs are employed and homoeopathic remedies and nutritional supplements may also be prescribed.
A detailed diet is individually prescribed based on correct food combinations which is practical, enjoyable and ideally suited to your metabolic type and your life-style.
The diet takes into account food intolerances and Lynne has supplements and medicines to improve the digestion and reduce these intolerances.
Detoxification is often recommended to remove accumulated toxins from the body. These toxins may either be inherent in the food you are eating or products of digestion which have not been detoxified by the liver or eliminated from the body.
In order to maintain good health and ideal body weight and have a natural resistance to disease, your metabolism must be operating efficiently.
A 6-day Detox Program is designed to improve the functioning of the organs which eliminate waste products.
You will notice a marked improvement in you energy levels as well as healthy glowing skin. A diet will be then prescribed for you to reduce sugar and carbohydrate cravings and other food addictions and to facilitate weight loss if required.
